Celebrating 100 years in 2024, Stone County Oil Co. has a legacy rooted in community and service. Founded in 1924, the company has been an integral part of the fuel industry in the Ozarks. In 1962, Bob “Blackie” Wilson acquired Stone County Oil in Crane, Missouri, dedicating himself to distributing gasoline and bulk oil to stations and commercial clients.
While Stone County Oil's legacy is distinct and longstanding, it shares a proud connection to the well-known convenience store chain Rapid Robert’s, established in 1983 by Blackie’s son, Rob Wilson. Today, Stone County Oil continues its commitment to quality and reliability as the exclusive fuel supplier for all Rapid Robert’s Convenience Stores, carrying forward a family tradition of service excellence across the Ozarks.
